How We Teach This Material

Theory matters, but it's not where we spend most of our time. Each week includes practical exercises using databases of publicly traded companies.

The program runs from September 2025 through January 2026, with evening sessions designed for working professionals. Most participants complete assignments over weekends.

What background do I need?

Basic comfort with spreadsheets and percentage calculations. We don't assume any prior accounting knowledge.

How much time should I expect to spend?

Most people spend 6-8 hours weekly between sessions and assignments. Some weeks are heavier than others depending on case studies.

Is this taught live or recorded?

Live sessions with recordings available afterward. We find the discussion during live classes adds value that recordings miss.

Content

Will this prepare me for professional certifications?

Our content aligns with CFA Level I material in financial analysis. It's solid preparation, though we don't specifically teach to any exam.

Do you cover technical analysis too?

No. This program focuses exclusively on fundamental analysis of business financials and valuation.

What tools will I learn?

Mainly Excel for modeling and analysis. We also introduce Bloomberg Terminal basics and FactSet for those who have access.
